Services Dr. Ashley Provides
Sessions are conducted via telehealth. I am licensed in New York and California.
Individual Therapy & Somatic Healing
This is one-on-one, deeply personalized work. We go beyond talk therapy to work with your whole system — the thoughts, yes, but also the body, breath, and nervous system underneath them. Depending on what you need, our work may draw from Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, neuropsychology, breathwork, Alexander Technique principles, qigong, or mindfulness. I don’t follow a rigid protocol — I follow you.
Intimacy Coordination
From SAG-AFTRA compliance to trauma-informed support, I ensure your intimate scenes are filmed efficiently, safely, and brilliantly — saving you time, reducing liability, and enabling your actors to deliver their best performances.
I provide on-set guidance for creative professionals navigating sensitive scenes and industry-specific challenges. Available for travel.

- Virtual Therapy Advantages
Why Virtual Therapy Over In-Person?
- Privacy and Comfort: Clients can join sessions from a familiar, safe space, making it easier to relax and open up for sessions.
- Saves Time: Virtual sessions cut out commuting and parking time, making therapy much more convenient for my clients.
- Saves Money: Without having to take an hour or more in travel time each way, you can resume your normal work and living schedule with less disruption. You also save money on gas and parking fees.
- Access to Specialists like Myself: Clients can work with me outside their immediate area, expanding their options for statewide care in either New York or California.
- Reduced Stress and Anxiety: A virtual setting can feel less intimidating, helping my clients feel more at ease. My clients also don’t have the hassle of racing through traffic and finding parking, struggling to make their session in time through rush hour.
- Consistency and Flexibility: Therapy can continue seamlessly, even if a patient is traveling, temporarily relocating, or working. Clients can engage in more consistent therapy sessions, which leads to better outcomes.
- Accessibility for Health or Mobility Concerns: Patients with physical or mental health challenges can engage in therapy without the challenges of travel.
- Fewer Distractions: Patients can control their environment, choosing a quiet space for optimal focus.
- Health Concerns: Virtual sessions reduce exposure to illness or other sensitivities, especially during busy or holiday seasons. We can continue therapy while keeping you safe.
- More Effective Interventions: When working with clients virtually, they are able to show me the challenges they experience in their own environment in real time, which allows us to create more effective interventions to move their progress forward more quickly and effectively.
- Proven As Effective as In-Person Care: Many peer-reviewed studies have shown that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person care. In my experience, it is even more helpful given the many benefits listed above.
